I recently took a business trip to NYC. I stayed at the Moxy hotel in East Village and I must say my stamina for walking around the city has improved. pats self on back
Fabrique Bakery in NY, New York
Hands down one of the best bakeries I have been to in my entire life.
Word of the week: (because I read a lot and come across some odd ones that I thought you would be fascinated to know)
Hackneyed:
according to cambridge dictionary - a hackneyed phrase or idea that has been used so often that i has become boring and has no meaning. “The plot of the movie is just a hackneyed boy meets girl scenario”
If you ever find yourself in NY do yourself a favor and get up early to watch the sunrise. From the Brooklyn Bridge, the rooftop of your hotel, or an open window. It’s one of the small things that make life worth living. And as we already know, life is made up of small things.

my favorite food is Chinese food. Therefore I am always opening fortune cookies. I created this series of posts so I can share them with you, but it would be a waste to make a post with only one quote, so Alas, behold my awesome fillers!

The view from my hotel room at the Moxy. I never closed the shade once I was woken up around 6:13am every morning by the beautiful Manhattan sunrise. How can anybody be depressed with this beauty.
