FTLOC Club Vol. 1 Dec 16 Written By Talia DeJesus Chai Latte, Spanish Latte, Conchiglia Panna from Coffee Code, Norwalk CAthis little bread is my go to here. The coffee is great, their spanish latte is amazing but I’m really just here to tell you about this bread. Try the bread. It is filled with an orange filling (subtle, I don’t like filling 99% of the time.) but this one is good, not to sweet for those of you who do not have a sweet tooth but want something savory. garden avocado toast, matcha brûlée toast, Americano and a chai from Kit Coffee, Newport CA.Kit coffee is special to me. Good coffee, good chai, but the reason I keep coming back is the avocado toast! For The Love Of Coffee Club Spanish Latte and a Chai Latte from Flat White, Cypress CA.Hands down, Flat white has the best chai in town. you get to taste all the herbs in the tea, not just the cinnamon that some places put a little too much of. More sweet than spicy this is my go to place for a good chai and friendly conversation from my favorite baristas. I don’t remember what all of these are called. Ask the people at B&G. All i know is that all of this was good and had the caffeine I needed to walk to around Downtown LA all day. Honestly, I’m not even here as a food critic or blogger. I just wanted to show you my pretty pictures. Matcha chocolate chip cookies from Meccha Matcha, Artesia CAThis is the best place to get your matcha fix in SoCal. This is quality matcha. and it’s in everything. They have different levels of matcha for those of us who are still getting used to the taste or for those who need that punch in the face matcha feel. Vanilla Latte and Herbal lemonade at Bakers and Baristas, Artesia CABakers isn’t just a coffee shop. This place is different. They have things on their menu that you have never heard of before that are amazing. They have their own spin on classics like the chicken and waffle which is to die for. Definitely try their Valrhona cookie if you like sweet things with a mess of warm flavors and their carrot botanical tea. (What? Carrot tea? Yeah, I was surprised too.) coffeeFTLOFFOODCAFE Talia DeJesus
